Remembering Ben Wright

When Ben Wright founded Wrightcraft Wood Solutions in 2010, he did more than put his name on the business. His passion for design, his expert craftsmanship, his sensitivity to others, and his creative energy became the benchmarks that Wrightcraft stands for today.

Ben Wright

AUGUST 11, 1978 to FEBRUARY 28, 2016

Founder
Wrightcraft Wood Solutions

Ben had a wacky sense of humour that not only entertained us, but also led to out-of-the-box thinking. The imagination that actually designed a periscope for our windowless, mezzanine studio also led to the creative solutions and ideas that our clients love.

If you knew Ben, you knew the big smile that started with his eyes, spread to his face and often had him practically vibrating with excitement. His energy was contagious and it rubbed off on the rest of us! Sadly, we lost Ben too soon. He died of cancer on February 28th, 2016, leaving his, daughter Lily, partner Sara, and a multitude friends.

Ben left the Wrightcraft team strongly influenced by his unique outlook on design and building. We are inspired by his passion, guided by his integrity and moved by his friendship. His example challenged the people around him to do better and be better. We miss him every day.
